The Politics of Dilbert

I’d read a lot of Dilbert comics when I was younger, but my memory of them is kind of fuzzy. So when I learned that Scott Adams turned out being a racist MAGA weirdo, I became curious. Was he always like that? Did his old work show signs of this tendency in him? Overall what did the politics and overall opinions of this person look like back then, and did I miss or accept them when I was younger? And what does this say about us as an evolving or not evolving society?

I was curious enough about this that I purchased three books of Dilbert comics and scoured them for any that seemed to reflect or at least touch on a hint of Adams’ politics. The journey was pretty interesting, and I look forward to sharing it with you.

Right-Wing Online Culture is Stupid About Politics and Religion

It’s no secret that everything has gotten pretty stupid and that the Internet has had something to do with it. So when scrolling through social media and suffering a barrage of stupid right wing/religious memes, I decided to do a video commenting about them. I hope you enjoy and find it just oh so enlightening.

Ben Shapiro’s Superman Review

Ben Shapiro’s Superman critique was totally off-the-wall. We know many people have made videos discussing/refuting the topic, but we’re more interested in his approach. He’s usually eager to argue about anything that could be interpreted as “woke,” but here he pretends Superman is apolitical and then passive-aggressively attacks him. It’s a strangely understated meltdown.
