Harry Potter Isn’t Book-Accurate Anymore

Grab a cold one, ya pelicans. Today we’re sitting down to rip into the brand-new HBO Harry Potter trailer shot-by-shot.
First they promised us an adaptation strictly “faithful” to the sacred texts—now the suits are doing the corporate downgrade ladder and calling it “Novels Plus”. Plus what? Plus whatever fan-fiction they cooked up on a lunch break?
We break down the good, the bad, and the genuinely cooked: from book-accurate eagle crests and proper Herbology lessons to John Lithgow sounding like an angry American high school football coach, Nick Frost’s Hagrid, blind bathroom trolls, and Lily and James apparently burning down bridges on date night. Is this actually going to honor the books, or are we staring down another corporate trainwreck like Google Plus?

We’re All Getting Sued

►YouTube’s copyright system is being abused by Remove Your Media and Eric Green, who are now threatening YouTubers with defamation lawsuits. Nicholas Light TV made a video called “My Channel will be Deleted Today” where he highlights YouTube’s response to false copyright strikes. YouTubers in the anime community have been speaking out against copyright strike abuse, stating that Viz Media is issuing false copyright strikes. YouTube Has No Mercy

►YouTube copyright system is being abused, with the anime community currently being targeted by Eric Green and Viz Media. Cawcawtv has gotten a copyright strike from penguinz0/Moist Cr1tikal, but in reality it is a copyright strike abuser filing the strike without Cr1tikal’s knowledge. ‪@cawcawTV‬ has received hundreds of false copyright strikes and claims, and his channel is set to be terminated in a few days. Having certain anime’s like “Naruto” and “Bleach” in your results in your channel receiving false copyright strikes and claims, eventually leading to channel termination. Nicholas Light TV made a video called “Dear YouTube” where he addresses this copyright abuse. ‪@NicholasLightTV‬ urges YouTube to do better and punish the copyright strike abuser. Even from its conception, YouTube was changing to fit its audience. But through the years, what YouTube has chosen to change, and who they listen to, forecasts a concerning future. A future, MatPat, the Father of the Game Theorist might have seen coming and tried to stop.
