YouTube’s War on Quality Creators

YouTube was launched in April 2005, for a brief period the website was designed to be a dating platform before quickly pivoting into a prehistoric version of the video sharing site we recognize today when its creators saw how viewers were actually using it. Even from its conception, YouTube was changing to fit its audience. But through the years, what YouTube has chosen to change, and who they listen to, forecasts a concerning future. A future, MatPat, the Father of the Game Theorist might have seen coming and tried to stop.
