He expresses how it was never his intention to downplay the murder of a young man; the importance of living in a country that allows us to have a show like this; FCC Chairman Brendan Carr telling an American corporation, “We can do this the easy way or the hard way;” Trump saying he has no talent or ratings; how lucky we are to work at a company that has allowed us to make the show we want to make for almost 23 years; not accepting the decision to cancel our show last Wednesday; Trump making it very clear he wants to fire Jimmy and other late-night hosts; and solidarity from the right, the left, and those in the center.
